I attended the graduate CG animation program at Texas A&M University’s Viz-Lab, intending to fulfill my childhood dream of “becoming an animator”. Somewhere halfway through my studies, I discovered my true desire was to draw pretty pictures and pursue a career in visual development. In late 2015, my husband and I moved to the west coast so that we could immerse ourselves in the creative atmosphere of LA and I could strive towards my goal.
I’ve worked across a range of artistic environments: as a web/graphic designer in publicity and branding for school and non-profit organizations; as an illustrator in educational entertainment, creating puzzles and books for online elementary curriculum; and as a visual development artist for children’s TV animation.
I love to experiment with traditional art mediums and to research folklore and mythologies, and have a couple of graphic novellas in varying stages of progress. On the occasion I am not hiding behind a mug of caffeine, or comically-debilitating introversion, you might find me below:
